LeadFerret Creates Directory of Contacts at Companies using Laravel

Laravel was initially released in 2011 and is already considered one of the most popular open source PHP, MVC, frameworks.  While many frameworks like CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Drupal, Joomla!, WordPress, Zend, and Symphony have been around longer, Laravel has gained notoriety quickly because of it’s modular packaging system with a dedicated dependency manager, open and active development community, huge application library, and the fact that it plays well with databases.

Laravel is licensed under the MIT open source license and keeps code protected by bundling it an only keeping those files that are necessarily public. This prevents server misconfiguration from letting code leaked to third parties.

LeadFerret Unveils Directory of Contacts at Companies Using AngularJS

Often times when something is simple it’s popular to make it more complicated, and then when something get’s complicated, it’s popular to make it simple again. AngularJS is a perfect example of this. Front end web development was once so simple that anyone could pick up basic HTML and start creating web pages in a weekend, but they were also extremely limited in what they could do. Fast forward a couple decades and there are now a wide array of very powerful front end frameworks to choose from, but of course many of them are very complex. AngularJS has helped with the movement back towards the simply by being one of the only major front end frameworks that utilize plain old Javascript objects (POJOs) for the model layer. This makes integration with existing data sources extremely easy, and limits the size of framework along with the bootstrapping time. Less complex frameworks also result in faster loading pages.

See the full directory at: https://leadferret.com/directory/companies-using-angularjs

The folks running the AngularJS Twitter account sum it up pretty well in their description: “Bringing ‘simple’ back to the development of complex webapps.” They also say: “Angular is what HTML would have been if it had been designed for building web applications.”

Anyone who has a complementary or competitive solution, service, or product should find this directory very useful.

It’s estimated that around half a million websites use AngularJS, including industry leading companies found in this directory, such as:

Intel
Sprint
Ford Motor Company
Walgreens
H&R Block
The Gap
Toyota
.. and many more

LeadFerret Rolls Out Directory of Business-to-Business (B2B) Professionals

Regardless of their title or place of work, the professional found in this directory have all reported and/or demonstrated knowledge of Business-to-Business (B2B) ecosystem. In fact, they many work at companies that appear to be in the B2C space, while they work in some B2B facet of the business. This could involve B2B sales, B2B marketing, B2B consulting, or anything that involves businesses working with other businesses. For those not familiar with the difference between B2B and B2C (business to consumer): B2B is businesses interacting with other businesses, like a printing company printing up fliers for another local business, whereas B2C is businesses interacting with consumers directly, like when an individual buys a soda at a convenience store. B2C purchases can be large, like a car or house, and B2B transactions can be small, especially in e-commerce, but on average B2B transactions are significantly larger than B2C.

See the full directory at: https://leadferret.com/directory/business-to-business-professionals

Historically B2B transactions have been larger in part due to the fact that they tend to have longer sales cycles, fewer impulse buys, and thus businesses did not want to engage other businesses for smaller amounts of revenue if they know the sales cycle would be long. However, with the emergence of e-commerce in the B2B space over the last couple decades, the cost to acquire new B2B clients, and the length of the B2B sales cycle have gone down, thus allowing businesses to engage in B2B transaction that may have previously been prohibitively small, and this has in turn actually lead to a slight downward trend in the size of the average B2B deal.

If you’re looking for a B2B expert, this directory could be very useful for you. Also, if you have a product, service, or solution that is especially useful for B2B professionals, this directory could be an excellent source of prospects.

It’s hard to believe that a service that has only been around for 10
years can so thoroughly dominate a market. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is
celebrating it’s tenth birthday, and holds 27% of the Cloud

majority of the over 1 million AWS users spend less than $50K per year,
although they account for only 4 percent of $7.88 billion in revenue AWS
reported in 2015.

AWS is not just big, they are trusted by some of the largest companies
and government agencies. They are by far the largest provider of cloud
infrastructure and services to the federal government, including to the
Central Intelligence Agency and the Pentagon.

LeadFerret Launches Directory of Contacts at Top NASA Contractors

Many people don’t realize that the NASA “team” that has done things like put men on the moon and send a probe to Mars is actually 75% contractors.  That’s right, 3 out of 4 members of the greater NASA team are contractors.  The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) currently awards about $17 billion in contracts annually, and this directory is comprised of the companies who received the largest total dollar amount in awards in 2014.  The $17 billion these contractors are all getting a piece of may seem like a lot, and it is, but it’s actually down significantly from the 1960’s when NASA’s annual budget for contractors was routinely in excess of $30 billion (adjusted for inflation).  In fact, NASA currently spends only about .5% of the Federal budget on contracts, whereas in 1966 that number was over 4%.  In 1966 there were about 400,000 people dedicated to the NASA effort between direct NASA employees and contractors, while today that number is estimated to be only about 80,000.

See the full directory at: https://leadferret.com/directory/top-nasa-contractors

None the less, there are still big dollars in NASA contracts, and when those contractors are awarded these contracts, they in turn also have significant budgets with which to deliver on those contracts.  That makes this directory ideal for subcontractors and/or anyone that provides a space exploration related product, service, or solution.

It’s also worth noting the interesting mix of companies and institutions that appear in this directory.  There are the usual suspects like Boeing and Lockheed Martin, but many people may be surprised to find out that some of the largest NASA contractors are actually universities.

This directory was compiled in part based on information found at bga-aeroweb.com and nasa.gov.

LeadFerret Sprouts Directory of Contacts at Green Companies

The world human population has grown more in the last 50 years that it did in the first 4 million years. The idea that humans need to change the way they use the world’s resource and the rate at which they pollute the air, soil, and water is gaining in popularity. It’s not just the extreme tree-hugging hippie minority that sees the value in “going green” any more. Even within the largest companies in corporate America sustainability and environmental responsibility has become paramount. It’s hard to say whether this is simply the result of the desire to have a positive public image, or it’s simply motivated by the bottom line, but either way it’s happening. In addition to tax benefits available for green companies, recent studies show that the majority of consumers actually prefer to purchase from companies with a “green” reputation, making environmental friendliness good for business. As a result, 69% of companies polled reported having one or more “green” initiatives.

LeadFerret Releases a Directory of Contacts in Companies using Akamai

LeadFerret, the free B2B data site, is excited to announce today the release of their newest specialized directory of Contacts in Companies using Akamai. This directory of contacts within companies using akamai technologies offers detailed contact information for each record, including email addresses, telephone numbers, and, where applicable, social media links.

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is a content delivery network (CDN) and cloud services provider that provides services from over 100,000 servers located on more than 1,000 networks in 90 countries around the world. This means, when you are surfing the web, there is a good chance a large number of the pages you’re viewing are actually being served to your browser from Akamai servers.  In fact, 85% of the world’s Internet users are within a single “network hop” of an Akamai CDN server.  This is how CDNs like Akamai load pages fast, by cutting down on hops and distance. This is a big deal, not just because Akamai is behind so many of the pages you view on the web, but for companies they are behind so many of the dollars that come from web users.  Akamai helps securely enable more than $250 billion in annual e-commerce for its online retail customers.

See the full directory at: https://leadferret.com/directory/companies-using-akamai
